Growing up in Munich, Germany at the time of World War II it’s almost impossible not to be brought up a Christian, or at least fib and say you were to satisfy the Nazis. Though, Winifred is a devout Christian on her own - she doesn’t believe to push it on people or to say one religion is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. In fact, the only time she is extremely open about it is in a very horrific or a very good situation.

headcanon o4. edward

Winifred does not love Edward Elric, nor will she. Though he does remind her of someone she feels she was supposed to know and love, but never had the chance to. (Referring to Edward’s ‘alternate’ who was killed through Ed on the other side of the Gate.)

headcanon o3. temper

Winifred makes a conscious effort to always be polite and elegant. The only way to survive in Germany is to be well known and respected, that way you can’t get taken advantage of. But despite her temperance and patience, she sometimes finds it hard not to lose her temper. It’s hard to do - normally strangers won’t aggravate her, but if she sees something unjust happening or if someone ruins her work, she’ll lose her cool. From time to time, Winifred will go out of her way to chuck a few gardening tools or pots at her co-workers heads. Idiots won’t be tolerated on a bad day when she’s already worked up.

headcanon o2. appearance

Winifred looks very similar to Winry. At first glance, she could be easily confused with her but there are a few subtle differences. Instead of bright blond hair and bright blue eyes, Winifred’s is much darker - a dirty blond with deep sapphire eyes.

headcanon o1. mechanics

Winifred is not a mechanic. She’s to gardening and arranging flowers what Winry is to mechanics and automail. She prides herself in having a beautiful flower shop that sprang from an even more beautiful garden. Though, this doesn’t mean she finds herself repulsed by mechanics. They confuse her, most of them - but the curiosity of how things work and what makes them tick will always still be there. Winifred finds herself tempted to ‘tinker’, but unfortunately, after tinkering too far and taking something apart, she can’t seem to put it back together. Not without spending hours of her precious gardening-time that is, so to her, it isn’t worth it in the end. But she still has that one watch she’s trying to mend stuffed in her bedroom drawer.
